Lost juco RB Tiyon Evans. He looked to be a good one. Some suggesting that we cut him loose, but I kind of doubt it.
I think that layered in this is the possibility that the staff likes the current group of short yardage backs.
It's looking like Nyland Green is a Vol, he's a big time DB prospect. That would give Tennessee 27 commits and they're still going after JUCO RB Tiyon Evans, who recently decommitted. Technically, there hasn't been any in home visits or official campus visits since covid. Tennessee can "blue shirt" guys and count them towards 2022 or just start cutting recruits to get to 25. I'm interested to see how they handle this
Cody Brown is a stud, I'm in Chattanooga and he's playing on local tv. He just busted a 60 yarder where he just [itch bay] slapped the safety. He's over 200 yards a few minutes in the 3rd quarter against a pretty good Camden County team in the playoffs
i'm sticking with my stance on Merrill. Good athlete and kid, but not seeing SEC player. Hope I'm wrong. Has above average hands too but don't see him outrun anybody and is brought down by the first defender most of the time on the quick stuff
