He’ll probably keep getting a mini extension every year he makes the tournament. It’s SOP at most places to not let a coach’s contract slip to less than 4 years remaining, as that can create doubt in the minds of recruits as to the coach’s future.

 

Vescovi enters the NBA draft, but retains eligibility to receive feedback after encouragement to do so by Barnes. I think he'll be back.

 

As a junior, there’s really no reason for him not to test the waters. Josiah should and probably will do the same.

transfer portal will do this. Development won’t happen over 2-4 years as much with the ability to go grab immediate impact and Tamba found himself looking elsewhere as UT tries to bring in portal players we don’t have room for.

 

The days of watching the development of the "Grant Williams and Admiral Schofield" types will be reduced.
