we were a wide open 3 to cutting it to 4 or 5 with plenty of time. As bad as first half was, we fought on defense more and let a player go off until he couldn’t anymore. We see it done to us so often it was fun to watch us have an unstoppable player for once.

The second half of that 2000 NCAA game against North Carolina was pretty awful considering the stage. Ditto that egg we laid against Louisville under Pearl

 

39 pts at half was more than we scored in a couple of games with Cuonzo. Just never seen us play defense like that before. Like we were in shock.

Wisconsin just beat Marquette. Looks pretty good for that to hold as a Q1 win for us.
