If you're a middle-aged guy and like to wear another man's jersey with their name on it is your decision, I don't care. But it does look a bit silly, especially tucked in.
I have a vintage Alan Paige jersey, but don't wear it outside the house mainly because I don't want get it dirty. It's the 70s era white Vikings jersy.
I don't wear jerseys, but also don't care what other men wear because I'm not interested in or concerned about the appearance of other men. You seem to be, which is cool. You do you, boo.
As for the final say in jerseys as a fashion statement, I'll defer to our fashion experts... @gcbvol @NYY
I never wore jerseys until I went to the Winter Classic when the Predators went to Dallas. I figured if I’m going to go all the way to Dallas to support my team in a once in a lifetime event possibly, then I’ll wear a jersey/sweater. Now I have several hockey jerseys/sweaters, but outside of hockey I don’t own any other jerseys.
Tucking a jersey in takes attention away from my pristine white Fruit of the Loom crew cut socks that I wear with my sandals.
CeeDee Lamb got fined $20k for not tucking in his jersey. I'll be tucking mine in. Plus, it makes it easier to use my handwarmer and harder to tackle.
Wore them every summer for three years working at a marina. Most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. I don’t own a pair currently.
