Jerseys are designed for game wear. Hoodies are designed for everyday wear in casual, comfortable settings. Logo’d dress shirts are designed for dressier environments.

If we all collectively decided that jerseys are fine even when there’s not a game on, it wouldn’t necessarily bother me, but it seems like they’re more for a very specific use case.

 

I don't make the rules/guidelines just sharing them. Do as you like.

I wore an all orange 2006 UT Adidas track suit while watching the vils beat Bama and it was glorious. Gonna wear it while watching the orange bowl too.

I don’t own a jersey, but couldn’t care less if everyone else is wearing them. Just not my style, and have rarely had players I’m that into.

If I did have a jersey though, it’d be probably a Darryl Strawberry Mets or an Eric Berry Chiefs.
