Guessing most, if not all, gang related?

 

It doesn't say, but I am willing to bet a vast majority of them are gang and drug related.

 

Could be someone planning it and coordinating it with July 4th so the gunfire is masked by the fireworks.

But, yeah, a bulk are very likely gang related.

About 8 years ago DC had a huge spree like this over the July 4th weekend. Turned out to be a turfwar between MS-13 and someone else.

Short of basically saying screw the fourth amendment and just going to with the intent of taking out as many gangs as possible, how do you handle the issue?

Honestly, going to a military style operation and saying the heck with the 4th amendment really seems to be the lone way to take care of things IMO.

 

Its like how we should be treating terrorism IMHO.

 

It will eventually, huge intelligence counter intelligence game going on right now.

The latino gangs have evolved and adopted legitimate business like our mob had previously done. Their power players have moved to upper scale communities. Every now and again you'll hear about them when they let the money and life style get in the way like the couple that got busted in northeast, ohio.

Heroin is huge right now and comes up by the tractor trailer load.

Their informants will let law enforcement get one while twenty go by.

 

and on top of it you have a country that generally is pushing for more lax laws on drugs. not sure what the solution is.

 

Legalize drugs and you cut them off at the knees
