8th Gardening thread

Evidently I grew so many that I felt the need to post them twice.

 

So far these cantaloupes and melons I am growing have been very, very good. The dirt in my garden has a lot of sand in it. That may be as important as the climate, I don't know. This just looked like a good place to plant melons, so I planted and here they are.

 

Didn't count, but that's half a row of lopes and half a row of sugar babies

 

I hate cantaloupe, but I love watermelon

 

I like both with salt. Most store bought cantaloupes aren't fit to eat.

 

Will pass on both. Forever and always.

 

Look good, we had some success with them, and we had them in a somewhat sandy soil on purpose as that
is what my mom said they should have.

 

My year in one word: hornworms.
