    So far these cantaloupes and melons I am growing have been very, very good. The dirt in my garden has a lot of sand in it. That may be as important as the climate, I don't know. This just looked like a good place to plant melons, so I planted and here they are.

    Didn't count, but that's half a row of lopes and half a row of sugar babies

    I hate cantaloupe, but I love watermelon

    I like both with salt. Most store bought cantaloupes aren't fit to eat.

    Look good, we had some success with them, and we had them in a somewhat sandy soil on purpose as that
    is what my mom said they should have.
