Where is this edge you speak of, I think I'm pasted it.

D coordinator/D line coach in the making.

Shake his hand for me. He realizes something that a "professional" earning $800k/year apparently doesn't.

"Edge? Never heard of it." -- says every Tennessee defender this year.

Remember when people were starting threads on VN to rationalize how the staff improved from 2009 to 2010? Then again from 2011 to 2012? We must have a damn good set of coaches by now.

The offensive tempo has no effect on this defense. What does have an effect is that the defense doesn't have a freaking clue as to what they are supposed to do.

I was as happy as anything that something I had been yelling at him for the past couple of months had sunken in, and he recognized it for himself when he saw it.

We have plenty of speed and talent to hold Troy to 450 yds of O or less. Sunseri is simply an abject failure.

Serious question, how can you have defenders out of place so often on a weekly basis?

Teach them while they're young. Good strategy.

I think it does, but it's a tastes great/less filling question at this point.

They don't instill discipline at any position.

Exactly. We are so out of position on defense it wouldn't matter if they were all track stars out there. Especially in the secondary.

Troy had almost had 600 yards of net offense against MSU.

Florida Atlantic held them under 400 yds. Florida. Atlantic.

    Let that sink in.
