He makes decisions based on that kind of thing. Seriously does. He's secretly glad he doesn't have to go to Atlanta because the possibility of having another loss make him look bad outweighs the possibility of winning a championship.

 

He's a salesman. It's all about appearances. Unfortunately, our decision makers don't get it.

The guy has won about 1 good game in his career here. We keep him employed. I don't get it.

 

It looked to me that Medley scuffed the ground on the kick and that caused it to be so short. I know he hit a bomb last year in the Swamp that nearly won the game, so I think he has the leg. Still does not change that Butch is a moron.

 

Career 6/20 from beyond 40 before that kick. Indefensible to try that.

Watched him kick in warm ups pre game. Hes pregame range was 45 comfortably. I told my friend when they sent him out there that they might as well take a knee.

Looks like four guys total (each did it only once) kicked a field goal long enough to have made it last night in the entire 2015 season.

 

It's as bpv said - Butch would rather lose and tell people it came down to a missed kick, than try for a Hail Mary and have to defend the coaching decision to pass up on the fg attempt. And this is with a successful Hail Mary on the resume this year

 

Would like to hear an answer for attempt.
