no. It's the "we're going to follow the process and not take shortcuts..." That's mealy mouthed version of "expect us to suck because we're bringing along the young guys the right way and don't want to rush it..." Same as his "I can see the changes but you can't because you're not a coach" silliness from last year. Stop telling me about that. Win games and adapt to your current players to best take advantage of their talents and make their weaknesses. You might not win but you won't make veiled excuses about why we're continuing the same stupid crap while looking pathetic.

That is how I took it. To each their own, however. I just don't see the Dooley in Jones.

 

I just thought he was talking about reality and where we are right now. I don't care if Lombardi, Walsh and Parcells are the brain trust, this team is going to struggle.

 

I would rather be competing for the SEC east next year and beyond than win an extra game this year.

dooley inherited a situation worse than the marshall disaster remember. it's amazing how bad the situation the coach inherited gets according the fanbase once the team starts losing.

 

dooley created a situation that was as close to that bad as a situation could be without that occurring.
