Team has turned a major corner. Winning record over the last 55 games. Snitker makes stupid decisions, but so did Bobby Cox. I'd like to see him get the job next year.
OK, so we've got Freddie and Julio Tehran. There's 20MM man Matt Kemp, 73 year old RA Dickey and 74 year old Bartolo Colon. Who are the rest of these guys? Anybody see any improvement on this 1-6 start?
They have some holes (they could use another starter and a couple of bullpen pieces), but I’m pretty pleased with how things are going so far. They are an aggressive, scrappy team that is fun to watch.
Also, I still think some of these holes could be filled internally. The bench could use some work as well.
The bullpen is going to need some help. And Snitker learning to use them could probably help tremendously as well.
Taken care of in a month or so. Mu-mu-mu-mike Soroka coming back just in time to close out the East in route to a 1st round playoff loss.
We won't make the playoffs this year and any deal involving a decent prospect would most likely be premature.
Went for the first time a couple weeks ago. All the restaurants and bars around make for a cool setup.
