Haha. I have been to more baseball games this year than I have in a very long time.

It has felt good to come back to the sport. So I guess I have an interest I the Rangers doing well. Hell, I'll admit that it is more fun being a home town fan.

That said, with the Rangers pitching staff and inconsistent bats, I am not penciling them into the World Series.

Your kids enjoy going?

 

My son, who is in the second grade, is playing his first year of tackle football. I am his D coordinator/assistant coach. A lot of fun, but it can be frustrating trying to teach some of these kids how to block and tackle effectively.

Sometimes I have to step back and remind myself that A) it is supposed to be fun and B) they are 7 and 8 years old

 

I took my son to a few games and we had a great time.

 

For the record: no defection, no intrigue.
