Talked to a buddy of mine in the ad today.

Some tidbits -

Everybody loves him. Moreso, they love his wife just as much if not more. Said they are both very laid back and down to earth. Not all wives are like that apparently.

Dude loves him some Pete's and Chandler's. Eats there all the time.

That said, sounds like he's my kind of guy. Definitely hasn't strayed too far from his hickory, NC roots. Nothing important, just throwing it out there.

 

I've talked to around 15 coaches I trust, college and pro both, and have yet to have one tell me that they Barnes will struggle at UT. Most think he will replicate or surpass the success he had at Texas.

 

Sounds like my kinda guy.

 

I hope they are right. I think a change of scenery will do him well.

 

That makes 2 of us. I've said many times their fried chicken Is better that gus'.

 

I just wonder where they find chickens that big

I hit Sami's up regularly enough now that I'm out west, but it's not the same even if it is good and the menu is identical. Nothing like Chandler's out there though.
