I'm not sure that beating SC changes a thing. Not with the East being out of reach and a Bama beating coming.

 

Timing looks weird if he beats SC and gets fired after Bama. Any win is going to bring some people back on board.

 

I don't see any reason to not go ahead and announce the firing going into this bye week. Couldn't possibly be a better time.
