Everybody but Sutton was either bad to horrid. Barnett and Maggitt weren't effective, Vereen and Mixon made more plays, jumper was a mess. Other than Williams I don't recall any interior lineman doing anything that resembled a push.
Yes, that was stupid, but also the bad that you take with the good from Barnett. The 4th and 3 conversion inside the 20 was among the most embarrassing plays I can recall.
Barnett was all over the field. He covered the te on a few zone blitzes and chased down a lot of plays. He did exactly what they asked him to do. Now, you could argue having him in zone coverage is a stupid game plan and I won't argue that. Jumper was terrible.
53 (Is that that walk on dude?) blatantly engaged with a lineman and got pushed inside. I still have no clue what he was trying to do. When it happened live, I yelled out because of how odd and, excuse the word, retarded it seemed. Then the RB ran right through where he SHOULD have been and scampered for a first down.
Some linebackers can engage and still make a tackle. Some defensive designs call for the lb to engage and someone else make the play unimpeded. This was just a shitty play
