I believe Butch would love the Temple HC job, but he is gonna ride the UT job straight to 6-6, or 5-7 next year.

If he takes the Temple job, he'll have to worry with BPV wanting to take him out for beers every night.

Chatting him up about offense, looking for pointers on the no-read no-option and shit, asking if he considers Army a dream job. Pathetic.

I could see Fickell turning it down and waiting for a better gig next season, just like Lincoln Riley has done at OU.

So is Fleck stuck at Western for another year?

Restraining orders, police involvement, and court appearances would be daunting to say the least.

Hell, he would be more relaxed on the sidelines and probably coach the game a bit better.

"yeaaah! Sure....heeey, reffrereee....I love EVERYTHING yur doin tonight, maaan!"

He is an Ohio native and recruits that area. Highly doubtful he turns it down.

If he really likes it there and can get a couple mill a year, stay. No reason to jump ship unless your dream job is open and they are knocking.

If they cannot get you a big contract, or you are simply climbing the ladder, get out now. Strike while the iron is hot.

Are you conjecturing or have you heard this? I didn't know they were sick of him yet.

Believe he and Saban agreed preseason that this would be their last year together.
