Funny how when Cal is recruiting all the one and done guys, he’s ruining the sport. The second K starts doing it, he just “adjusting” to the times.

 

And does it the right way.

No coach at a major program does it the right way. K is just as dirty as the rest.

 

Pretty much. Biggest difference between him and Cal though is K can actually coach.

Yes, vacated for something that had absolutely nothing to do with him or his coaching ability. You have to see the flawed logic there.

 

What does that have to do with his coaching abilities? I agree that he’s not an elite x’s and o’s Guy, but he’s also not some dude who just rolls the ball out. He’s a decent in game coach who has a tendency to take the foot off the gas in the final few minutes when his team is leading. It’s cost Kentucky multiple games in March.

 

That roster had the second pick of the NBA draft on it. It not like he was coaching a roster with no help. VCU and George Mason were better coaching jobs.

 

He is not an elite x's and o's guy but K is. That's all.

 

Brandon Ingram was the second pick in the draft and Coach K lost in the Sweet 16 with him. Come on. It’s great that you could name two better coaching jobs in history.

I’d take Cal as a coach over Shaka Smart 10 times out of 10.

Jabari Parker was the second overall pick and a Wooden finalist, and lost to Mercer in the first round. Taking UMass that far isn’t easy.
