In fact, the more I learn about my wife (coming up on 20 years of marriage this september), the less I know about her. Some kind of inverse knowledge siphon thing.

 

I want you to pay attention to what I'm going to say here. But you can figure out women, its very simple, Yes Dear!

 

Acquiescence and understanding are two different things!

 

Working on 29 years married here. Yes Dear works wonders.

 

Women don't even understand themselves. They just demand that we men do, IMO.

 

My wife is about as laid-back, logical and low-maintenance as they come, and she's still confusing as heck. God only knows what a high maintenance irrational one would be like.

 

My three rules I tell anyone about to get married:
1) Put the toilet seat down
2) Learn which way they like their paper towels/toilet paper rolled (over top or back behind)
3) "I'm Sorry."

 

Obviously some are afraid of science proving their religion to be false. Instead of taking the time to educate themselves they would rather be lazy and put their head in the sand or make science out to be evil in general. I think science in general is greatly misunderstood.

 

My wife is the same way. I've told her if I can't make it work with her then I can't make it work with anyone.

My wife has her fair share of whatever makes women high-strung. Fortunately, she's intelligent and realizes the errors of her ways and apologizes later so I'm sure there are much worse.
