That would be a mistake, as what they said on this is public already and didn't match what was done or said by him.

If Trump, or any World leader for that matter, did what was needed to be done months ago (close the border, quarantine, etc.) we would be in a much better place.

Imagine the outrage. Racist. Taking away our rights. We did not have a problem which means the Leader went overboard, etc.

People would not have stood for it.

Then why didnt the cdc move ahead with finding a way to get more tests without Trump getting private labs involved.

Not sure if this has been discussed, but my friend that is a nurse practitioner at a local hospital, told me, from his own mouth, that there is more cases at their hospital that aren't reported. I'm not sure why they wouldn't report them, but that's what he said.

If this is what it looks like, it’ll be a sizable incident.

Why couldn't the CDC deliver what was promised by the President? Interesting question, with a built-in assumption.

Since when did we have national healthcare to handle nationwide testing for anyone who wants it? That's socialism, right? We aren't socialist, are we? Do you expect socialism?

Because they don't qualify for testing, and yes there are a LOT more.

We live in an entirely political world, and yet some are hesitant to accept that politics affect every decision by everyone, all the time.

Americans are dying, and our economy is not only under fantastic strain, but is at risk for outright calamity.

Trump is President, and as such, it’s ultimately his responsibility to mitigate and begin to solve these problems, and that’s what all Americans should rightfully expect him to do.

He should spare nothing in the effort, whatever that may mean or require, personally, politically, etc.

And he has made up some ground, and his turnabout on the open for Easter thing shows that he's getting the information.

The Easter thing honestly didn't bother me. It was a ridiculous goal I knew we had a very minute chance of achieving, but it didn't bother me.

Other than the whole ratings thing yesterday morning, he's not been awful the last 2 to 3 weeks.

Looks like Lee is ordering all non-essential businesses to close today.

Trump was simply telling people what they wanted to hear. If anything, that makes his comment a little more stupid.

As far as here, we aren't testing an entire household of people. If one tests positive, the rest are assumed to be and quarantined the same. It's too burdensome to test every single person, and that's what saying anyone who wants it means in a worst case scenario.
