I’m not trying to brag, but this is a really great time to not have kids.

Me getting pregnant would definitely blow the pandemic out of the water for craziest story of 2020.

Your wife is pregnant, you are pregnant. You share that one.

It’s 2020 man. A little outdated for you to think that’s how biology works now.

You people have really never heard people say "We're pregnant!"? It's quite a common phrase to mean that the pair is expecting. Naturally language tolerates the substitution of "we're" for "you're."

There is even a book, apparently:

Figured the joke/sarcasm would be easily detected there, but I guess not.

I screwed up and had both of my boys doing the packets without a break. They were done in about two hours, then I turned them loose outside. Apparently you're supposed to structure your at home learning like a class room. Whoops

Yeah, I would be a terrible teacher.

Bah, that artificial time gating is stupid. If they are bright enough to get done, why would you make em drag it out for another 3 hours?

That hasn't stopped a significant percentage of actual teachers.

As a teacher, yep, so true. Also, the insistence on massive amounts of homework has proven to be asinine, as well. No reason for math teachers to assign 40 problems when 15 would suffice.

My son is going back in person. Wife is teaching in-person at the same school. Their school has a dedicated virtual teacher for each grade.

My wife has so little confidence in Knox County's virtual program that we will likely pull our son out and homeschool him if they announce they are going full virtual.

Is he old enough to code? If we get enough of us, we have a dev team.
