I was actually responding to Card's post about immigration reform. Don't put words into my mouth.

Hey, Republicans just keep on doing what they're doing. Maybe that will work.

As long as both parties believe in runaway spending they won't have to worry about getting my vote.

Instead of the boogeyman people will tell their kids of the devil and his weather machine and how he tried to kill a city.

Seems to be working better for them than for your party.

Hispanics are a group ripe for Republicans, religious and family oriented. For those thinking they are just voting to "get stuff", realize that Bush got 40% of the Hispanic vote. What happened? Well, when you have a primary about electrified fences, moats and alligators and referring to illegal immigrants as criminals, then people put two and two together and see what type of people are being demonized. Throw in some very unpopular laws about profiling in Alabama and Arizona and you have a group feeling targeted negatively by one party, especially with many who may know that illegal immigration is a problem, but that most of them are people here for a better life.

Every republican should read Hunger of Memory The Education of Richard Rodriguez.

Uni is on top of his game today.

Also, would not be surprised to see a big push to get Jeb to run in 2016.

Seriously though, you are commenting in the context of a party's electability, and acting like things aren't working out for them... Seems like they have quite the racket going for them to me.
