Well yes, it definitely sucks to look at what you made vs. want you took home. But you also can’t take it with you, and it beats the alternative.
Destruction of the middle class is a complete fallacy. The reason why we have a smaller middle class is because we have more rich people as a percentage than ever. That’s a bad thing? The percentage of the population that are low income is down as well.
the narratives he and you are talking about are what has allowed for the destruction. we are told a lie that the middle class would be fine if they weren't so burdened by taxes... they've gone down and the shrinking of the class continues. we are told the upper levels are too taxed and with less they would invest in higher salaries and it would trickle down... nope, hasn't happened. the narratives that taxes make the middle class poor and that the rich pay too much is how it is done. throw in how businesses can cause damages and liabilities then liquidate and dissolve themselves to avoid responsibility, and then those damages are socialized and take up public resources...
The reason middle class wages haven’t grown as much as they did the years prior to 2000 is globalization and the ability to do things remotely. The American middle class isn’t price competitive like it used to be. It amazing that middle class wages have kept up with inflation over that time. A true testament to America.
I do for what they are measuring. remember it's not everything on the planet, but costs of good for your average 4 person middle class family.
I just need to know how I'm going to get my 10,000 pound pieces of equipment hauled from job to job. I don't really care if it's through diesel or electric, just let me know when it's happening so I can start saving to afford it.
It's gonna be Warren isn't it? https://www.predictit.org/markets/d...n-the-2020-Democratic-presidential-nomination
i just cannot believe she will get the nomination. I think it will eventually be someone from the pack.
