This is a valid question. That still remains if she shows up.

I would rather Romney ran as the left of right candidate, than watch Hilldog round 3.

If she comes in, wouldn't she just be splitting votes with biden?

If she runs again and gets the nomination again, I just can't see a way Trump doesn't get reelected in a traditional field. If that situation does develop, a Romny-esque third candidate could seriously challenge the two parties.

Probably mostly, but I who knows. It's a tough thing to read these days and there's still a lot of time until votes start getting counted.

    I could get behind it.

I would entertain the notion of a "none of the above" option.

I hated that idea when I first heard how Ireland does their voting from an Irish friend, and am still not ok with it, but should give ranked voting another look.

the point of it is that the first choices of many people might not be the most representative choice of the electorate. and if that isn't the problem we are grappling with in America, I don't know what is.

The problem is the two major parties have ruled, regulated, bought and sold, and taken every other step imaginable to make sure that something like this will never happen or work.

The problem is that people lose their damn minds at the idea of a business having a monopoly. But just accept it as business as usual in politics with our two party system.

The two party system is simple politics.

    Us. Them.

    You. Me.

    This. That.

Lot easier than thinking about this, this, this, maybe that and a possible combination of two or more of them.

I'm a Whig, so I will vote Whig all the way down the ballot. Easy peasy.

Nah Romneys love by the left and media would evaporate the second he announced his candidacy. See the last time he ran and what happened when McCain ran.

I don’t know about you guys, but I can’t stand for Hillary getting the nod because it means TD would be right. And that’s just wrong.

Absolutely. But that is going to be anyone available right now, though. It wouldn't be that Romney would be some great political savior.

And Congress would be Congress. But I don't think there would be massive amounts of inquiries and stonewalling. Which would actually be an improvement.

True, but we are entering a post-media influence era. Both sides shout about fake news, outside influences, etc. A lot of people are slowly waking up to the fact that they are being spoonfed.
