    Also, it bears gentle reminding, that Bernie isn't even a Dem - and had he won the Dem nomination, we would have seen both major Parties offering outsiders on the POTUS ballot. Even one instance was unthinkable, only two years ago. The weakness of each Party's stature with the American people has finally worn so thin as to preclude the need for a viable 3rd Party candidate. Why run as a 3rd Party when you can just come in and take one of their slots, instead?

    Cruz is the POTUS we need. Trump is the best we deserve. Hillary would have been a real punishment.

    But you wont see real third party success unless congress became parliamentary in nature. That would require an amendment. Its something I could support as long as the speaker/prime minister doesn't become an executive branch figure but just head of the House. Oh and to also get my support the Senate would have to be given back to the state legislatures. It would add checks to the system not subtract them.

    I like gridlock for the most part.
