Captain America Winter Soldier isn't much of a super hero movie, it's more James Bond. It's different, but it was needed. It went outside the box a little.
Can't remember where I saw it, but there are people saying they need to make a LGBTQ, are those the initials, super hero to better represent who people really are.
Soft reboot? Like, somehow reboot and add Cap and Iron Man back in? In the Lego Marvel stuff, Wolverene is a fixture.
Fiege and Marvel want to do a Fantastic Four movie correctly, more in tribute to Stan Lee than anything. I could see them using Scarlet Witch as a jump point for introducing mutants, she uses her powers to attempt to recreate Vision or something. Or maybe the underwater earthquakes close to Wakanda is a way to introduce Namor and the Fantastic Four. If the Eternals rumors are true, you've got Secret Wars as a possibility, too.
If they've got rights to Spider Man, do they have rights to Norman Osborn? If so, you can go Dark Avengers as the public "replacement" for heroes that were lost during the fight against Thanos, while they do super villain stuff.
like, hawk man is the new Cap and and the plot does not relate back to infinity stones or anything. a narrative separation, turning the page. ya, you put a new wolverine in the avengers or something like that. some new faces and characters.
imagine having your loved one be one of the ones that died due to the snap's immediate aftermath, e.g. a helicopter crashing into their building. "Thanks a lot, Avengers. 5 years too late."
