Expectations/Predictions for 2020

Yep

 

Think we're gonna see Chandler shine this year with OL taking a big step in the running game and just simply being one year better. Gray too, gonna be a nice 1-2 punch.

 

I want to see Hodge or Whitehead be a battering ram at tailback too.

It would be funny if we're all worried about JG and Tennessee comes out running it 80% of the time and just throwing a play action bomb twice a drive

 

Eh...I'm not in love with our backs.

 

Chandler is pretty good but isn't great.

Gray has something Tennessee hasn't had in awhile, an ability to make people completely whiff.

Tennessee needs a big back too

 

Fils Aime in his now 13th year may help. I kinda liked how he ran when he got a chance.

Word is since this year doesnt count for eligibility, JG will be back next year. Iyam, siap,

I just don't think anybody on the roster sniffs the field at Bama or Georgia. Gray maybe could prove that wrong.

 

True I mean Georgia has the backfield boys

 

I hope they choke on that this season.

Looks like we are going to have a much smaller front 7 on D but bigger at cb and s.
Hopefully that means more disrupting and just trying to get in the backfield.
Hopefully it doesnt mean getting shoved around by big OL. Lbs all lost weight too.
Hopefully we look fast af

 

Probably not by design. I haven't gone around to look at other teams' roster stats but I'd guess Covid has affected all team's in that regard due to limited off season work outs. Or the other players kept the weight but it's fat and not muscle. Or I don't know wtf I'm talking about and I just want football to start.

 

Ha. Funny thing is oir skill players all bulked up but most of our bulk on DL and lb went down. Couple OL did get bigger. 7th yr senior riley locklear appears to have finally started lifting

 

You know or can you tell if Elijah Simmons leaned up? For a big dude, he agile and if he did drop some baby fat that could only help. He's another I eagerly want to watch on the field.

 

He lost quite a bit

 

I don't see a decrease in size

JG i saw a link that listed every player from spring i believe. Havent seen the link since though. Believe it said our lbs were down about 10 each. Cbs and safeties up. Aaron beasley up big.
