No way. If we win out we will be in as long as Clemson loses or Bama/OSU/Michigan lose in the regular season.
I’m not sure why you’re not at all threatened by TCU but you’re scared of Clemson, whose schedule is even weaker than TCU’s. Although the committee seems to agree, so I guess there’s that. Maybe it’s Judy name recognition. But Clemson can go 13-0 without beating a top 20 team.
Im not saying they won’t be in the conversation. But once you have the conversation, you see that our resume is better than theirs, without question. The only thing they have going for them is “when” they lost. Which shouldn’t matter.
One is ranked 4 and the other 7 in the poll that matters. It’s a good start on who yo care more about.

We need that win to look good. After today where we really failed the eye test we need lots of help. I know if we stay in the 1 loss group it’s just opinion so anything to help is good. But we missed our best shot. So it just falls where it does. I still like this team
If the LSU win is a top ten win, that works just fine for me. Also am I cheering for Notre Dame and Schiano the same evening smh
Everything else equal a 1 loss Oregon PAC 12 champ has some leverage. And we have no quality opponents left
They'd both be in the top 15 and probably Bama in the top ten. With the LSU win on the road, them staying top 15 sounds good to me. Bama going 11-2 and LSU going 9-3 is probably best case for us, but the difference is pretty small in comparison with things like Clemson, TCU, or Oregon losing.
