Some have billed this as "Hillary against herself." I strongly doubt that is how it is perceived after it is over.
They're not even going after each other. Seems like it will be a circle jerk with the winner already determined in not **** up Clinton by being able to go at her.
ya, that's what politics are missing: personal attacks! It'll be just so terrible, discussing policies and ideas.
They had stated they they'd just be talking about their policy and not going after and not debating the others positions. That's not a debate. I would actually love to see sanders and Clinton go at each other on their positions. sanders actually has a good policies on criminal reform and other social issues. Plus they're pretty different on economics, but you're right. Better for them to just hit their talking points.
Why buy when you can just pander to fear and ignorance and get them for free? Worked to get the House.
They said they weren't going to get personal, not that they wouldn't discuss each other's positions. Also, there are 3 other people on that stage with nothing to lose.
I don't think it is good for the national dialogue to choose candidates based on "who does best nationally." Would rather cut the popularity shit and be about policy and direction.
Saw a stat that at the last GOP debate 74% of the questions were directly asking candidates to comment on other candidates.
Maybe, but the wheels only spin when the GOP dishes out to its providers. Dems buy votes. The GOP buys backing and funding.
Has to be a popularity contest since its basically a majority vote. I hate all of the distraction bullshit that gets pulled into it too.
Let's just make corporations people and let unlimited money flow into politics. What was that about buying votes?
