Remember a month ago when one of my guys told me that it was Fuente? I know the decision maker is different but what I did know before makes me feel like Fuente is very much on the table. I've got 2 decent to good sources and the one who told me about Fuente is not the same one passed along the list earlier.

I am definitely not sure how to feel about Fuente. I would consider Patterson a grand slam. Fuente would be above miles on my wishlist but I am not sure how much that is actually saying.

 

I wanted Fuente two years ago, but he hasn’t been quite as good as I expected. Not sure how to feel now

 

Fuente is my irrational coaching crush because he completely flipped Memphis, which looked impossible at the time.

Maybe Taggart is more attractive because of his contacts in the South, but I am about 99% sure Fuente would do some damage here.

 

David Shaw is infinitely better than most of those name. Sorry, he just is.
