A really sad fact about the level of our government.

    Checks and balances.

And the product of those finds should be yet another reason to get the career politicians out the effin door.

$100B? No biggie. Just a rounding error for Herr Obama's administration's increasing cost of doing business.

I've always found it humorous that the govt stops at no end when you owe them money (see IRS, parking tickets, property taxes), yet doesn't give one shit about the spending side of it.

I don't know why. I doubt cattle find anything we do humorous. We should know our place.

.001% of the budget. Waste is bad, but math skills are good.

The fact the budget is that high is worse.

Must have gotten the number from his global warming data set algorithm. It always aims higher.

How much should the budget be, eric? Give me a figure and a rationale.

pardon, .1. Further proof math skills are good.

1.1. I called it an even 1 trillion, then divided 100 billion by 1 trillion. Comes to .1 %

    $100bn is 10% of $1tn

In actuality that $100bn is ~2.5% of the total budget and accounts for ~13% of the projected $750bn deficit. I think its pretty significant.

It is significant. Assuming the story is accurate. I'm having trouble finding where they got these numbers.

I'm not going to arbitrarily throw out a number, but a shit ton lower would be a good start.
