I know nothing of this Blackburn fellow. Can someone fill me in on why he's the guy everyone seems to be wanting to take over the AD?

 

He was in the office here for a long time. Can probably get all the boosters together. Made good hires while at UTC.

Summary:
Peyton and Phil met with Butch Friday before the game.

Peyton is keeping up with who the next AD will be.

Fulmer is willing to be interim AD if needed, but not the main guy.

Blackburn would make Fulmer a consultant to the team much like Florida has with Spurrier.

Blackburn is the best choice to get UT back on track.

Dave Hart was forced out.

I'm struggling to see how anyone could view Dave Hart's removal as absurd. He's been a disaster.

 

I don't understand it either. I would have fired him after the Tyndall debacle.

 

His crowning achievement is Butch, and he was a couple of miracles against a lame duck Mark Richt from feeling some serious heat. All the other sports have gone way down the crapper.
