I've explained to my 9 year old that no one that lives around us that wear Clemson or Florida shit can say they've been to Clemson or Florida's campus.

I will never, ever forget standing in a doctor's office in Erin, TN (middle TN version) in mid January 2017 when a 30 something year old guy walks around the corner decked head to tow in brand new Clemson national championship gear. I could not help but let out an audible laugh.

 

Word is Elliot wants the Duke job so I think you will start to see his staff fall apart along with everything else.

 

I know they were really young this year, but still, they didn't look like the recent Clemson to me at all.

 

Ya, I have laughed in the face of nouveau Clemson fans as well. I was 19 years old when I first heard of Clemson as a football program and school. No joke. And I retrospectively realized my youth soccer team had used their kitty cat paw logo, and I STILL didn't know. They were NOT on the radar. Fast forward a dozen years and they are a "national brand." Pfff.

 

Man imagine living in Charlotte with all the Clemson fans. The ones from SC I got no issues with. Problem is those folks feel like a minority. They’re all from PA/NJ.
