A ploy to sign his son maybe and get the Berry Twins?

I will lose it. Let Jay Graham go to bring back Trooper? No. Just no.

I don't buy it. He's getting talk because he's been here before, did a good job with RB turnaround from 2005 to 2006, is a good recruiter, and is available.

At least that would give us a built-in excuse for what's fixin' ready to happen.

His son is on record saying he prefers to be at a school where his dad is not at

I think we are either getting a former Cincy guy or Trooper. I'm losing faith.

    Lets take a vote....

If you are Jones and you are told that if you hire Trooper you will get TK, the twins, Hurd, another top back, and bates.... Do you hire him?

Running back coaches have been known to elevate programs to new heights.

    You guys are un****ing real.

While its certainly a bad thing that Jay left, it's not the end of the world.

It's just another symptom. First we've seen since NSD but real nonetheless.

Best recruiter and position coach on staff. Former player. It's a big deal.

Just another brick in the wall.

He turned Raijon and Marlin into real running backs. We have to hope they don't revert to sideline-seeking missiles, getting tackled by wind, and avoiding running lanes like the plague now that he's gone. If not, we've got some super unproven QBs and no wide receivers to rely on, so that should be great.

We don't have to hire Trooper to get those guys. I'd still say no.

Depends on where your looking at it from.

It's just another coach leaving. We should all be immune to it by this point.

Tennesseee Bearcats in full force. I wouldnt stick around either, no good running backs to make him look good. Hes just ruining his career sticking around here. Will head to FSU and coach up great running backs as opposed to trying to figure out who in the hell is even worthy of starting on this team. Less work plus more money. No brainer.

And probably being replaced by another lesser coach. But, you're right, I'm immune to that by now.

Good coaches leave shitty programs. Agreed.
