Our past 2 and maybe 3 USMA superintendents are essentially Jimmy Cheek and the Army team reflects the lack of care on that front. If we fail to realize that the most public face of the institutions is the football program, we deserve what we reap. Regardless, it pisses me off to no end. We finally have people in place who recognize that it's good for the Academy to field a competitive program bent on excellence, but the hole dug by the previous academicians is shockingly deep.
