It helps us that Mullen is about to get fired. With USC, LSU, and UF open, the carousel is bound to get to Stoops at some point, and he's got to realize that it's as good as it's gonna get at UK. Franklin ends up at one of the above, you gotta think PSU comes calling. I would have thought they would have gone for Mullen, but now that it's a dumpster fire down there, that's a hard sell.

 

Yeah both offenses were great and both defenses were embarrassing.

And yet both offenses came up empty on their final drives with the chance to seal the game. Funny game sometimes.

 

With our offense why wouldn’t you send the house on 3rd and 4th downs? I know you can’t do that all the time, but why not 75 percent of the time? It’s worth the risk. Our offense can score in under a minute.

 

One of the best things I’ve seen from a UT football team in years.

 

Really don’t want to see Franklin in Gainesville at all. Keep Mullen around, although we seem to be total trash against him.

 

The 4th and 24 was disheartening. No pressure makes 0 sense.

I'm at the point that it doesn't matter who Florida hires, they'll get theirs in recruiting and beat us on the field more often than not. A weak Kentucky not getting instate, GA, and OH kids we're wanting helps us.

 

It really doesn't make sense. You send at least 4, but probably 5 or 6 against that guy.

 

That was the “ball don’t lie” moment to take the excuse away from UK that they lost due to the missed face mask. No one can say UT didn’t earn it now.

Need to adjust defensive philosophy.

when you’re this good on offense you don’t play bend but don’t break style. We’re way better when attacking

 

Yeah, you definitely don’t give them time for their play to develop.

 

I just hope once t.u. & OU arrive in the conference that we don’t have to keep playing them in September. Mind-boggling that they pushed Bama to the brink and somehow ended up becoming…whatever this is now.

 

I think we need to have a philosophy of putting hits that matter on the passer early. The game turned in the 4th when he started hearing footsteps.

 

Bama isn't good. We self destructed at the end of that game due to depth. LSU held them to 6 yards rushing.
