Maybe not, but I feel hopeful about the Mays brothers and Simmons and Tiyon. Those 4 alone are a massive difference
Let us not forget, it is Kentucky. It took a run of the three worst coaches in nearly 100 years to even win a couple of games.
If we can run the ball effectively, we win. Their soft zone coverage should be low hanging fruit for receivers.
Most books have this game as a pick ‘em, and Barstool actually has UT favored by a point. Vegas appears to have lost all faith in UK.
Meeting on monday in Vegas: Boss: How is the TN-KY action going? Underling: Sir, not good. We just realized something we forgot. Boss: What is that? Underling: Sir. It is that, well....it's Kentucky. We forgot. Boss: ............oh shit.
Imagine the wildcat fan moron who threw a bunch of money down on emotion at UK-4 on Monday, now seeing he could have just taken them even.
It’s now Vols -1 or -1.5, depending on the book. Should’ve trusted my read on the game more than the Vegas power rankings, haha. Let’s hope we prove all this line movement right.
Lol the line just keeps moving and moving. Is this the biggest game of the season for CH? He's won over a lot of people so far this season, but the downside of success is it leads to expectations. People won't be happy if we lose this game, whether that's right or wrong.
It’s probably the least forgivable game that’s relatively losable—Ole Miss had an elite offense, and we still had no idea who are QB was against Pitt or Florida. By the same token, it’s his best chance of getting a win over a ranked team. That said, it wouldn’t be an unforgivable loss or a mind-blowing win. It’s road game against a decent-but-not-great team. Barring a total blowout one way or the other, it probably shouldn’t change perception as much as it will. Now beat Georgia or lose to Vanderbilt and it’s a whole different conversation.
You lose to THIS Vanderbilt team, not only should you be fired with cause, but you should be run out of the business. Perhaps even the country.
