Good lord. I cannot figure out how to keep this stuff from happening, and it is sad. What the hell are we doing to ourselves?
Just found out that one of the teachers that I taught with last year is at that concert and no one has heard from her. This breaks my heart.
Absolutely awful. I just can't and won't ever understand what possesses someone to go and decide to just randomly kill a bunch of strangers.
Not at all. This thing was very intricately planned. Had he not set off the smoke alarm, he would have killed more.
Ya, fish in a barrel. It's just as bad as the theater and club shootings, but with more people and a better firing point
What, as a culture, can we do about these things? I am usually not one to say "omg they are happening more often and with deadlier effect! We are doomed!", but it does seem they are happening more often and with deadlier consequences. The 2nd Amendment is there, and thus disarming the population is not the key (nor should it be imho). But there are so many guns with such deadly accuracy and capacity, these things are insanely deadly. So what can we do about it?
