I wish Chip Caray would get caught saying something offensive on a hot mic.

Am pretty thankful I've been able to have good play by play and commentary my entire fandom.

Now I'm surprised Mike Shannon hasn't said something this bad or worse in the late innings of a blowout when he's 10 beers in, but he's at least very entertaining.

 

Cards have had a pretty lackluster run of analysts on tv. Hungo for 30 years and Horton.

 

Kind of sad ol Thom wasn’t there for that 9th inning meltdown last night. His palpable disappointment was about the only thing that made them listenable

 

I’m okay because I’ll always have this. Anytime I’m blue, or down in the dumps, I just fire this baby up. I could watch it forty eleven million times and it not be enough.

 

At least he's a home play by play guy, well, was.
