Kid for the Dodgers was dealing. Very impressive. Kudos to Price, he has earned some strips this postseason.
1. They answered the bell when they needed to. Winning a game like that, after losing in 18 the previous night, was pure guts. There’s a reason they won 108. 2 Alex Cora got bailed out big time. Leaving Rodriguez in to face Puig was, let’s say, a questionable decision. 3. Seeing Frank Luntz sitting behind home plate in a ziprecruiter t-shirt was odd. 4. I’d like to thank Dave Roberts for helping the Sox win two World Series. 5. I’d rather see them win it at Fenway, but I’ll take a W tonight.
Can’t complain about my life as a fan, since I started following sports around 1990 I’ve celebrated five Super Bowls, four World Series, a Stanley Cup, a nba championship, a college football national championship, and the alma mater winning a college World Series. Not bad boys, not bad at all.
I think I’m just going to move to Boston and retroactively claim all of that. I am going to be doing some online programming classes through UMass Lowell. Maybe I can live vicariously through that weak link.
This was a fun Boston team. Pearce had an incredible Series. I’ve said that if I live in Houston for 6 years, then I’ll surpass my time in Boston and I’ll let myself start rooting for the Astros. I just finished year 2. I’m not sure I’ll be able to do it.
If he did what he did in 2015 every year, sure. But he hasnt. 30 million a year seems crazy. Nats dodged a bullet.
I have few thoughts about this subject. 1. Has somebody actually paid him that or is that what he’s asking? Because, to me, there is a difference. 2. If some multi-billionaire, and yes I’m including Tom Ricketts, wants to drop 300 million on one player, then who am I to argue? It’s not my money, and lord knows he’s got plenty more. 3. You’re worth what somebody is willing to pay you.
