He's making 4.2M at Baylor and is 58. Texas is down, and he's rolling right now. Zero sense why he would leave Baylor.

Not even factoring in that he's from Texas, played college football in Texas, and has never coached outside of Texas.

first two are pipe dreams.

 

I think that is on their minds, but it seems incredibly unlikely.

1) What does the Big 12 gain? It already has the market here as strongly as the Pac12 does.
2) The deal will be crappy, since Texas basically stiffs everyone.

 

I still think texas and Oklahoma end up in the pac-12 some day. once the longhorn network fails it will happen. give it another year or two.

 

If dave hart were hiring for them he'd probably end up with Roberto Kelly or Andy Kelly
