I cannot believe the East is going to stay this craptastic for much longer. Way too much money floating around the conference for that to happen.

Don't see them moving on Richt this year. I think he gets one more year, they really want Eason, without Richt they aren't landing him.

 

A loss to GT in Athens may be too much for Richt to overcome

 

With regard to the SEC East here's two I like

Herman - 'Carolina
Strong - Mizzou

 

I think the high turnover is working in his favor, especially with LSU possibly joining the list.

 

Unless Strong is fired he's got 1 more year. The OU game might have saved him.

 

Carolina-Herman or Fuente
Missouri-Odom or Fuente
Just a hunch.

And he'd be an idiot to choose Mizzou over Va Tech.

 

Fuente could do a lot better.

 

I don't see mizzou getting top tier. Too much going on there.

 

I don't think Missouri is all that appealing. I'm still interested to see who USC will get.

 

Local media is suggesting that Fuente already has a deal worked out with VT and that it will be announced next week. Many say that is why Memphis leaked that they were gonna pay Fuente over 3 million, bc they knew he was already gone and they would not have too.

Wherever he goes, he's just waiting to get the Oklahoma job
