I agree with you when folks say that. Last year was a mulligan (OU, UF, Arkansas).

 

Honestly, if he just holds serve with South Carolina and Vandy, most of us have to begrudgingly accept he's going to be coach awhile and could conceivably luck into a championship at some point. He really, really blew it this year.

 

True. Tough to argue with 10 wins and an SECCG appearance. It's evidence of decent coaching.

Of course,even with Vandy and South Carolina as the obstacles, Butch's only championship game appearances occur in hypothetical scenarios.

 

There aren't 10 worse coaches in the ****ing country. The AD would literally have to try to hire a worse coach

Warren seems to be a good hire. Shoop was too though. It ultimately isn't gonna mean anything when the head coach is a loser.

 

On paper Warren looks better than the other two IMO.

I don't understand how he can make good hires like this but completely eff up the OC hire....my guess is Shoop hired him.

 

It's too late now but he absolutely could have made a good OC hire after 2014, but he chose not to. Infallible system and all.
