Obama's Train From Nowhere

The plan was to have bart to san jose. that was 30 years ago and it might happen by 2020. Going to victorville is pure stupidity. and why would anyone take the train to san francisco if a) it's going to take 3.5 hours, b) you can fly in under an hour, c) you can drive it in 5 hours, and c) most people will have to drive at least half an hour to get to this train station? will some people do it? sure. but not enough to not make it a money pit.

 

i'm for rail if it's going to be used. there is a reason why rail hasn't happened in southern california and it's not because we are idiots.
