Q. Davis may end up being a linebacker, from what groves was saying earlier in this thread. He's very athletic, but a tad light for how we have been filling the position as of late.

 

Bourque is in. We can all breathe easier.

 

Bourqe is another one who could end up at something besides running back. Although I am sure that he will at least get a good look at RB, since promising that is likely what set us above some of the other schools offering him.

 

Really? He's rail thin and never played defense to my knowledge, not even the secondary.

 

Maybe I am thinking of someone else.

All in all a decent class. The two LB defections were too much to call them anything but decent. Good DL pick-ups for sure, but for this coaching staff's sake they are going to have to make a contribution immediately.

Still, a bummer that we couldn't close on the LBs.

There was talk of Bowles being turned into a db or lb too

 

Any word on Ritchie Brown? Don't really expect to get him, but holding out hope.

I really hope we don't take Bynum, unless he's some great prospect flying under the radar, which I doubt. If we are stuck with Dooley beyond next year, it does seem that the 2013 class could be very, very good for us.

This year, I feel this class is a B. Definitely above average, but the two LB defections hurt badly. I'm still puzzled on the Peters deal.

 

Losing Santos and Peters was big for this class, add that Dooley told Henderson to take a hike a couple weeks before that and LB is a big problem in this class.

 

This made me laugh.

 

So we may have room yo back count next year
