    Did you watch the game?

    No.

Did Va Tech look good against a middle tier FCS opponent? I'll take your word for it if you say so.

Against a potential FCS playoff team. Va Tech D held Liberty to 60 yds the first 12 drives of the game. Liberty scored on two fumbles. 11 yards total.
I watched the replay of most of this game. Fuentes' playbook was very very vanilla. Tennessee is in real trouble Saturday night
and let the rioting begin after this game ends.

Come on, Liberty's not even a top 25 FCS team.

That is an impressive outing by the D though.

So, it's about the same as holding a Sun Belt team to 13 points.

I have no faith in Butch, but Tennessee has a large talent advantage. They should win by 14+. I'm not saying Tennessee will, but that's how I feel it should go

Could care less about making comparisons between the two outcomes. Means nothing. I watched both games and Tennessee is in a lot of trouble Saturday night. Just my opinion.

Butch is a monumental fool. Don't kid yourself.

We have the talent advantage, they have the coaching advantage. Let's see which one wins out.

Talent should always win out, agreed, but the word for the week is pressure. A weak opening game and playing in the biggest college football game ever has all eyes on butch. Gameday crew etc. We'll see if butch can keep his vagina from bleeding.

I wouldn't have ranked them. They looked like total shit Thursday, and that is being kind.

Agreed. 17 is about 10 spots too high.

Dropped more than I thought with others losing. But sounds about right.

It doesn't matter at this point anyway. It'll work itself out.

Yup. Win the next 3 and we will be a top 10 team and no one will say a word, except those who are determined to be miserable.

I tend to agree, but man we were awful Thur night. The offensive play calling remained stupid, the line was atrocious and our QB looked like he has gone way backward.

Our offense is not always terrible. I think Butch picks this game that he's been hyping up for two years to open up the playbook a little. Tennessee 30 Virginia Tech 17

That said, if a couple big plays go against us early, I could see the wheels falling off.
