We didn't know it was down, and continued as normal. Some sort of server bug. If you logged in at the top of the page when you got the error message, you could still enter the forum.
I think all the mods were able to still patrol the board, under special access given to mods. But regular members were locked out. I doubt vbulletin would deny mod access, especially if the server was being "overrun." Everything was shutdown, even the contact form.
Mods had the same problems. Using the log-in at the top of the error screen worked, though, as IP stated.
That might have been the difference. Although I logged out and tried to log back in, and got the error. Wouldn't even let me log in.
I actually had no problems at all, but noticed that there was nobody around and that things weren't updating.
