You’re up by 2, you’re getting the ball with 2 minutes left, and all you need is two first downs to win the game…but rather than playing to move the sticks, you play to force your opponent to use its 3 timeouts…netting you nothing but 12 seconds of game time off the board, and now you’re giving possession to a team that can BEAT YOU with a field goal.

I could almost understand the strategy if TCU needed a touchdown.

Baylor had the winning play call. The qb was too chickenshit to throw 10 yards to a wide open guy.

There’s no question. The idea that they’re untouchable is absurd. Bennett is a gamer but limited and they lost so many studs to the NFL last year. They’re beatable.

 

Why you run a play for a qb if he’s going to overthink it and hang onto it like he did all day. TCU looked no better than Kentucky. Fancy 3/3/5 or 3/5/3 or whatever ain’t shit

I will say this for UGA though. They’re bad to play down to inferior teams. Obviously that won’t happen in the playoff.
