I have to admire the complete and utter shamelessness of Nick Saban.

Exactly, players actually make as much or more than NFL coaches so that probably hurt his fragile ego.

 

I think he's a fraud. He never had any interest in competing on a level playing field and is now bemoaning the situation he created.

 

He beat Ohio State when he was at Michigan State and built LSU into such a force Les Miles won a championship there, the guy can coach.

 

He is an old man pining for the Good Ole Days that never existed.

 

He’s pretty good. He’s not really exceptional when he doesn’t have an overwhelming talent advantage. But getting that is about 75% of the battle in college football

 

He might be the best defensive coach of all time for college and is the gold standard for modern pass coverage.

 

The Saban can't coach takes are VN-level posts.

Say what you want about what he did or didn't do under the table, the dude took the talent he got and developed it. Then he turned a 180 and said "fine, you wanna play first to 40 wins, I'll play that too."

Lord, I had to double check and see what website I was on.

 

Saban is a damn good coach. Hell, at 72 years old he was a couple of plays away from likely winning a national championship with Jalen Milroe at QB.

He's also a hypocritical sack of shit.
