No kidding it was snuffed out. Alabama had their normal defense on the field and you still ran the fake.

He said in post game press conference that the play was there, receiver was open, but they just didn’t snap the ball quick enough and Bama recognized at the last second and rotated a defender to cover the open receiver.

I just went back and watched the play. Bama was never fooled or out of alignment prior to the snap.
