Offensive linemen as FB's is a pretty damn good idea. I like the way Wisconsin plays football.

 

We lined Emerson up at FB on the short yardage run by Crouch.

 

I think just getting respectable is an acceptable point. Leach could do that. Doubt he ever wins a championship. Maybe never even wins the division, but stops the routine losses to Vandy and other crap.

He's close to 60, so maybe he gets us back to decent for awhile, then he can ride off into the sunset and we swing for the fences again.

 

he's a lousy recruiter and parents don't like him. i have no doubt he could get you to 8-10 wins a year annually though.

 

Keep Tee and Niedermeyer and get a decent DC and let's ride.

If USC wasn't so snobby they could get him and he would win a lot of games with all the west coast talent out there. Boosters would hate him though so it could never happen.

I think his dad said that's the plan but he is going to keep his options open just in case something changes. Weird situation.

 

10 regular season wins at UT means beating at least one of Florida, Georgia, or Alabama. That isn't happening with Leach unless he substantially ups his effort in recruiting. Probably isn't happening with anybody for at least 2 or 3 more years.

 

Florida should have a three year losing streak to UK. They aren’t some juggernaut.

 

No doubt he can beat Florida

 

Oh man, I would hate to hire a coach who only loses to UF/UGA/Bama every year instead of UF/UGA/Bama/SC/Vandy/etc every year. Would truly be a fate worse than only going bowling every 3rd year.
